Project ES796 Welcomes Douglas Bailey

We were unsure how to get out of the small, population 5,000, town of San Lorenzo and to the project, so one of the project team rode into town and then escorted us on his bike.

As you will soon see, the kids really enjoy greeting a sponsor.

A young lady called ‘Laura’ takes my hand, gives me a rose and leads me in way I should go. At the time of writing I’m reminded that I actually came to know Jesus because my sister Laura led the way.

Do you know there is a party in heaven every time someone comes to know Jesus as their saviour?

And it’s good to have someone holding your hand when you can’t see where you are going.

My translator (and photographer) is about to get left behind and miss the bit where I meet Banesa.

But I didn’t need a translator for Banesa’s smile.
